WHAT NOW by Velvet Tomassini - Velvet's passion for cultivating a financially literate society is extremely evident in this "must read" book of how to manage your money. Targeting an audience of High School, College and University Students, but certainly not lost on any adult needing a little guidance in the art of how to make your money work for you. Candidly written with understanding and ease (not to mention the witty illustrations you look forward to with each turn of the page), you will walk away from this book wondering intensely why this subject is not mandatory in our high school curriculum .

How cool is this! Art by Darlene - before and after pictures of the hallway project at Garden City Manor. Previously, residents would linger around the exit door and elevator hoping to leave. They were aggitated and often in the path of visitors and staff risking escape and possible injury. This no longer happens. The paintings were done in a hallway with 7 FLAT PANELLED service doors and an elevator that was uninteresting but well-occupied. Now residents and staff can feel like they are transported onto a street in Paris, complete with Chocolate Store, Dress Shop and Cafe. Also the elevator is now painted to look like Florist Shop Doors and simply by virtue of a "Closed" sign, residents (and some visitors!) are convinced that this is not a way off the floor.
